As above i want to buy a hybrid td05 but the shaft moves side to side but still pulls well with no smoke so is there a rebuild kit to fix it or is there anyone on here who can do it for me

The t'd series turbos are journal based and will have a bit of sideways play . As they require a film of oil around the shaft to take up the play .Unlike roller bearing turbos which shouldn't have any play .

If there's not any in and out movement, smoke or exessive noise it's probably ok and doesn't need a rebuild .

If it's not broke .....upgrade it 😊

That's good news then coz Iv just won one on eBay for £70 coz the shaft moves a little but he advertised it as hybrid so does that mean it's a normal td05 or not
