Or one welded in place....it's when there's a fmic fitted and you want to take it out, if the main beam's cut, can a new one be bought or would what's left of the original need have something welded in place

not sure on this one but.. I would go for seeing if the original piece is still available and get it refitted - failing that try a breakers? 

2nd Jays comment I wouldn't know but wouldn't want to risk welding it until I had tried every other option 1st
