Hi all, there is a leak between the black top plastic piece and the metal part of my bugeye's radiator. Does that mean a new radiator and how much should a genuine Subaru one cost? Are aftermarket ones any good ?

I replaced mine with an ali one from japspeed. The fit is perfect and it keeps the temp down better than the original due to it being larger. Think I paid around £120 ish very reasonable I thought. My original rad had a similar problem to what u describe. 

Really appreciate the advice, are Mishimoto any good (as I've read some bad reviews about leaks) because my local garage will fit one for under £300 or want £600 for genuine Subaru. Not sure whether buying cheap means buying twice?

I looked at the mishimoto rad and it worked out at nearly £300 just for the rad. Japspeed was over half the price of mishimoto and pretty straight forward to do myself. Took about half an hour to swap over. 

Thats just were mine went i fitted a eurocarparts one for £60 as a stop gap to a better one but still going 3 years on😎
