Exhaust queries

Featured Replies

Hi new tp the forum and recently just bought my first subaru. Its a 2002 wrx wagon.

Was wondering if could get advice on what exhausts would fit mine. From what i can gather i have a newage model. But see loads of classic exhausts for sale. Looking underneath i see my downpipe is in two bits. Already has a decat on it.

Could anyone point me in right direction for good exhausts and advice if a classic would fit newage

Thanks

Classic exhausts are longer then newage or vice versa i cant remember which

They are both the same length in total, but classics have different length downpipes and centre sections.

If you're just getting a back box, both classic and newage are exactly the same length, only difference is the 3rd hanger points the wrong way. Which isn't a big deal as aftermarket back boxes are pretty light anyway so not overly necessary.

O right on my last blib wrx i bought a classic exhaust and it way way too long and the flanges were at a diffrent anfle so i had to cut it down and spin it
