Pipercross or K&N?

Recommended Posts

Hey all.

Looking to get an aftermarket filter that will sit in the original housing. I've always gone with K&N in the past but I've been doing research through google and a lot of people are saying that pipercross dry foam filters have been the better choice.

Just wanted to find out what you guys here are using and if you've had more benefits from either before?

Cheers!

I think the majority of people on here use dry filter types (Pipercross, cosworth etc) K&N is an oiled one which could potentially knacker the maf... I personally use a cosworth (I've also used pipercross) and they are both very good.

Cool. What sort of cleaning process goes with the foam filters? K&N system is a bit tedious lol

Not sure tbh... they're so inexpensive I just replace them!

Cool thanks. I'm still looking into compatible braided lines first so I'm keeping money back for that and if I have enough I'll be getting the filter shortly after [emoji106] as always Sandals, your help is much appreciated !
