I took my Legacy Outback Estate to JEm Subaru for an A/C full service.  They informed me it had completely run out of fluid and that when they refllled and regassed it and they put some dye in which they said would show if there was a leak.  There was no leak.

They charged me the full amount, but the A/C has never worked since - does anyone know what the solution might be, or where else to go in the Hackney area?
