Subaru Kitten Posted July 10, 2017 Share Posted July 10, 2017 Hi Guys, I am a new member with an issue with one her turbo's! :-( My car is a Legacy B4 RSK. Its a Jap import and I am getting all sorts of conflicting opinions whether it is a ball bearing type turbo or a non ball bearing one - a journal type lubricated by oil. Also depending on the manufacturer I have been told I may have to buy a new one from a main dealer because a IHI one can only be refurbed if the problem is the piston rings as it is impossible to get any other parts. This is all new to me but I really love to learn about my car so does anyone have any knowledge of this? All comments gratefully received. :-) Thanks so much!!
