Hi, admittedly this isn't the most exciting topic, but I can't seem to find this info anywhere else.

I have just bought a 2002 legacy, both keys were with the car, but there are no batteries in either remote (integral withe the key).

It's a bit strange that both are missing, so I'm not holding up much hope that they will actually work, but I need to try.

Please can someone tell me what the correct battery type is?

Not sure if it's of any help but the one in mine is a CR1620 but I have an Impreza I don't think they would have changed the size.
