Filling arches

Hi people.

After a little help. Looking to get a set of 17"s for my bug WRX. What offset would be best to fill the arches? Car has standard suspension so it won't rub.

Offset also depends on the width of the wheel. Do you know the width?

The ones I've looked at are 17x7J ET35. Would these fill out the arches? Would you say 8J or 9J would be better at a offset of say 38 or 40?
