Around what I think is the MAF sensor cable there is a flexibility plastic cover that has split and had tape wrapped round it wondered if this is something that some of you may have replaced at some point?

I think both of my classics had tape around the "flexi trunking" that covers the maf wires and some of the engine loom .

I think its factory fitted to seal the ends of the trunking . When i did my newage coilpack conversion i covered the "pig tail" wires with some flexi trunking that halfrauds sell by the mtr , think it's normally used for audio installs .

I got it off ebay.subaru engine dress up kit.you get 3 diffrent size conduit to do all your wiring.just pick the colour kit its about £20 for kit.
