Sirspidey
Hi all, now I'm back to talking and searching for tyres again and I'm starting to think that I've got the wrong load rating and speed rating on my car. When I got the car it had Pirelli pzero neros on, which I'm happy with and I've change two for an exact match and now the rear two are getting close to being needed, but I'm having a search around and the tyres ive got are load/speed rating of 91Y. Now I think this is over kill, what should I be getting? Many thanks

Pixyflash
It all depends on whether you think you'll ever need the excess safety margin. I guess if you never break the law, then you can down grade as long as you keep the weight in mind, I'm not condoning speeding but it's better to be safe than in a ditch. Never thought I'd need a top rated tyre till I toured Germany, @145 mph it's amazing how much faith you put in 4 bits of rubber... Personally: High speed High load xxl You should never have the think about whether or not your tyres are up to the job.
