Hi

got and XV 2012 with minor body damage, now fully repaired

only one issue left - front wiper motor not working

fuses ok

lever checked and 12v coming out follow the switch

wiper motor removed and works when 12v applied direct

any idea what I should do next

had to removed the arms in order to check the motor

I mean before the problem arose 

 

or the motors themselves need to be in a certain sequence for the movement to rotate correctly when fitted 

as when they are loose it will just spin as it should 

the motor not sipping at all

Would also check to see if the spline fitment on the arm itself is in good order. If worn motor will turn arms will stay still. Hope this helps.

was bodywork repair in area of wiper or its wiring ?

I would assume bad wiring or relay to start with, basic power and ground checks to start with at harness to motor and see where results lead you ...

where is the relay located ?

I have removed the glove box 

still cant find it - 

help appreciated
