Hi guys 

just bought a 2002 Subaru Impreza and the drivers seat won't go all the way back on the runner it feels jammed and with me being tall I need it further back. 

Has anyone ran in to this issue before and knows where to start? I don't want to just take things apart without having knowledge of the job first

Hi. Does the interior look like it’s been recently put back in? If you can I’d count the teeth on the runners on both sides to see if it’s twisted. Ive got an interior that’s to go back in my classic right now and the base can slide freely on both sides so it’s easy to have a slider in the wrong position. If not I’d guess there’s something jamming a runner or there’s a bent tooth.

Check that the fixing bolts on the runners are all tight 

I had this issue in my old bug eye

 

if so it’s a quick easy fix
