Lockheedtristar
Helo everybody! I have a problem with my outback 2003 2,5i. the steering wheel is shaking when full left or full right. There are also some loud noises coming from front while turning. Based on what can I hear out of it, I am wondering if CV joints aren't responsible for this kind of trouble. Hovever, as far as I know, CV joints shouldn't be able to move whole steering wheel 2-3cm to the side and back (that is the shaking I mentioned) therefore I'd like to ask you, if it can't be caused by damaged power steering servo. Thak you for your advices.
savage bulldogs
Worn outter c.v joints tend to give a clicking sound on full lock when driving slowly .Wheel bearing, ball joints , inner tie rods outter track rod ends are also worth a check .Is there any uneven tyre wear ? If your unsure , get it checked out sooner rather than later, as if any of the above completely fail it could be nasty
