Changing wheel and tyre size

Hello,

I currently have a standard 2006 Impreza R Sport which I believe is running 6.5 x 16 ET52 wheels with 205/50R16 87V tyres.

I'm looking at changing to 7 x 17 ET40 wheels with 205/45R17 88V tyres. 

Will these fit?

I've used the comparison tool on oponeo.co.uk and willtheyfit.com and it says they will fit (I think), but I was looking for a second opinion?

That should be fine (assuming no lowering etc) - sticking out extra 18mm

Think you offset may be 55

which would have your wheel stick out 21mm - that should fill out your arches nicely 👍
