Hello to all

I have not long acquired my latest Subaru and have been looking for a forum to join, I have been a member of Scoobynet for some time but I am looking for something better and this could be it. :) I have had a quick look over the forum and when I get more time I will explore more. From what I have seen so far it all looks Good.

Cheer Eric

Wotcha and welcome Eric - fell free to browse :)

Thanks for the Welcome messages look forward to exploring the sight.

You're welcome mate not as busy as Scoobynet here but a lot more friendly here :D I'm also a fully paid long term member there. But have found myself like you looking for some where else. :)

i'm on scooby net and lads forum and neither of them have me posting as much as on here, so far i don't think i've had any of my random waffling edited or removed unlike other forums, i like the freedom to say what i think without it being the wrong opinion all the time so i just stay on here and rarely browse the rest tbh

Looks for the delete Miggs post button :D

hmmm maybe we are being remiss in our responsibilities

mind you that means I wouldn't have anyone to talk to and I would have to delete a lot of my own posts... :P

If it's all kept with in fun and not having ago at someones car or threats to one's self it's fine with me ;)

in fairness a lot of other forums are uptight about most things as it doesn't go with THEIR view of ideal cars or what you SHOULD do to a scooby, the forums with a more laid back attitude like here, basically you do what YOU like and that's all that matters, are not as busy to start with but word gets round that you don't get judged by your car and people start gathering as they have here and it takes off as a friendly banter welcome forum, THATS what forums should be about

I fully agree with you Miggs. I see myself as a car enthusiast even though it's more to do with Subaru and not so much other makes I like to see what people do to there car's even if it's not to my taste. But more important for me is the people I meet that share the same view and having fun. I think if you get up tight about what others do with their car maybe Jaguar might be better car for you, I've never seen a done up Jaguar driving around other then tints on the windows. I'm sure there is Jags that are done up but not many. And more and more people have started to join and have all been great on here, I'm sure we will have a few idiots come on I can only think of one that's had the ban hammer dropped on them but there post's where just troll post's. But anyway enough ranting I've not even had my cuppa coffee and have to take my daughter to the school bus :D

I like the sound of both what yourself and Miggs have said my car is my Play Thing :) its great to drive and to my way of thinking the Best colour for a Scooby :D Blue.but this does not mean i don't like other colours. As for Jags I have an X-type estate as my every day run about it saves me risking supermarket car parks, there are to many people about who just think of a car as a bit of metal. :(  It also gets used for taking rubbish to the local tip something my Scooby will never be used for.

I agree Blue's the best colour to me also but if it has the Subaru badge on it I'd have it :D

I have a bug like your's to be fair and it's my pride and joy but is used as my daily :( along with a blobeye but had to let one go :( and it was the blobeye I've gone past the point of no return with the Bug :D And I was driving an X-type V6 saloon not long ago but I only had that to sell on nice car's for just driving but almost as bad as the Subaru for fuel drinking :D Or maybe I just have a heavy shoes ;)

And no my car's have never been metal to me it's like one of my kids :) And I wash it more then I do myself

if i was to own or indeed mod a jag it could only be one of these

Nice Pics the last one would get my vote. I try to keep my Jag tidy but as it is black it is a job, and as i use it ever day it would take up a lot of my spare time, witch could be better used to keep my UK300 clean and polished. :)

They do look mental. No good for driving the roads near me pot holes everywhere :)

The middle one is on hydraulics and has an awesome boot build that I can't find pics of anywhere

That being said the top one will be on air too as it's got a rayvern sticker in the window
