Seat Wiring: Which way round?

2003 Forester X (SG)

Hi. I've bought some replacement seats for my Forester. On each seat, the two yellow wires and yellow connector have been cut off. I've got hold of some replacements but, on each seat, both wires are yellow with nothing to distinguish one from the other. Does anyone know if it matters which way they are connected? (The wires on the loom side of these connectors are also yellow but each is identified by a coloured stripe: blue & black to one seat and red & green to the other). Thanks.
