Grahamki Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 Hi all any advice on 2 pot brake callipers mine are sticking on a tight budget just now so trying to get even pre owned any advice would be much appreciated πππ
Jay762 Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 They are easy enough to refurb yourself if you can take it off the road for a bit - still not free but Big Red will sell you a refurb kit which would be better than paying for an unknown second hand pair

Jay762 Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 that caliper price is good - that abs sensor is a bit of a bummer Try adjusting the belt tension before spending out on the power steering
Grahamki Posted July 23, 2019 Author Posted July 23, 2019 Yeah I thought that I will get that disks and pads π I tried to adjust it and it didnβt help got quoted Β£190 for new one. The abs sensor is dear I saw ones on eBay but itβs hard to find the exact one for my car I donβt want to buy one and then itβs the wrong one hopefully after all this then I have a bit of luck with nothing going wrong car has been good but had to replace suspension arms to alloy had a wheel bearing that set me back Β£350 as everything was seized car was in garage 3days the rear shocks 2 sets of pads as calipers seizing and 4 tyres lol but I still love the car π thanks for your advice π
