Alloy Wheels

HI Folks, new member. I bought my Subaru Outback 3 months ago and love the car. I was looking for a set of 16 inch wheels to put good winter tyres on them. The Subaru Garage said they had a set and I bought them at a good price. I took wheels to local HiQ garage who fitted Bf Goodrich tyres late August. Today I went to HiQ to have wheels fitted, got a call from them saying the alloy wheels did not fit and they did not know why. I have them home and the wheel centre bore is 56.1, Offset is 48, PCD is 5x100 and size is 6,50JJx16. It's a holiday here so Subaru garage not open. Should HiQ have had a problem with them, have the missed something or have I been given the wrong tyres by Subaru garage? Anyone have an opinion?

HI Jay762. Thanks for the input. I had a mechanic measure things up earlier today and he said the wheel diameter is wrong and thread holes are too deep for my car. All the measurements on the boxes seem to say they should fit. Going back to Subaru Garage on Friday for refund. Very annoying. I now have BF Goodrich tyres looking for 16 inch wheels. Love my Subaru, bit deflated about the tyres. Can anyone recommend a site for 16 inch wheels for my car, alloys or steel wheels?
