fpan
Hi everyone, I am looking at replacing my daily Abarth 500 with a family car and one of the potential candidates is a Subaru XV. I am familiar with Subarus having owned a WRX wagon, a couple of Forester STis in the past and my other car is an Impreza 20th anniversary but I have never owned a diesel Subaru. Is there anything I should be aware of and what are the common faults (if any) or things to check before buying a XV? Many thanks!
Jay762
Wotcha and welcome - few XV owners on here, not sure about the subaru diesel option though, unfortunately it is not a great product and the Fozzy diesels have many issues. Is a petrol option completely off the table?

Yes, due to the mileage I do I am looking for a diesel.
Jay762
OK - browsing the XV owners area has some interesting feedback, for the most part very positive
