Hi

Took delivery of the XV e-Boxer with leather seats in December and have been suffering from contact dermatitis, especially on my back, ever since.  I have never before had an allergy issue with leather.

What have they put in the seats that causes this and how can I get it out ?  Turning the seat heaters on max would help to drive out the volatile compounds but obviously makes this allergy even worse.  Am currently using seat covers just so that I can drive.

Am wondering how long it takes for the VOC's or what ever to out gas ?

New To Subaru but need help to sort out this problem with the leather seats
