Wackapayne Posted June 22, 2020 Posted June 22, 2020 Car: 2007 2.5 WRX Hawkeye Bought the car steering seemed fine had(maybe smoke and mirrors of a new car) however, slow leaking drive shaft seals from the moment I got it home. So I thought for the sake of the price, I would replace them rather than the 300mile round trip. Fixed the leak steering was off a little 100% sure it was alignment even though I marked the camber bolts. So had the car aligned but speeds about 20mph and above it goes straight no pulling. When going real slow seems like there is slack in the rack and the steering wheel could be at 3 o'clock and the wheels slightly to the right (only seem to happen on the right side) when I speed up and correct it sits perfect again. Any ideas ? Rebuild rack ? Replace ? Maybe check the tie rod ends again?
