Hi there Subaru fans 

I’ve inherited a UK supplied Subaru Sumo 4x4 it’s a 7 seater with 29k genuine miles and one owner for all but 1000 of those miles  

Unfortunately its been sitting outside for 20 years but we’ve now recommissioned her and she’s running ok (at the moment!)

I am hoping to get an MOT soon but there’s a problem:

The windscreen is cracked !!

Would anyone know where I would be able to get a windscreen and other spares?

Wotcha and welcome - I would contact a dealer first to see if they are still supplied then go to the aftermarket suppliers - It may be you have to get one made by companies that tend to supply to motorsports teams but that could mean you get a heated windscreen.

Hi J762! Thanks for responding. Yea I’ll certainly try that. I’m a builder and one of my glass firms bend laminated glass. He’s providing me with a cost for a bespoke screen but I’m almost certain it will eclipse finding a second hand one !!

Just found out today a new one supplied and fitted is £400 plus VAT 🤔
