Water Pump Removal - 2010 Forester 2.0D AWD

Featured Replies

Hi sorry for the first post to be a thread however, I’m in abit of a predicament where I need to replace my water pump on my forester.

I’ve looked online but only seem to find information about foresters with water pump within their timing system mine is on the serpentine format.

I’ve removed the radiator and serpentine belt and drained all coolant but I can’t seem to get access to the bottom bolts do I need to remove the heater pipes below near the oxygen sensor? Has anyone got anything from a manual to aid myself with the removal?

Specs- Subaru Forester 2010 2.0D AWD boxer engine

Much appreciated.
