Hi

I have noticed a leak of power steering fluid from around the pump, I can't see anything obvious, banjo bolt is tight, can't see any flow of fluid. Is there a place where it commonly leaks from?ย

Cheers for any help ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi mateย

I had a similar problem. There is an O ring between the pump reservoir and the pump itself that can be the usual culprit.ย
Hope you manage to get it sorted ok.

All done, if that isn't the cause I guess a new power steering pump is next!ย

Though I just noticed my rear offside brake caliper leaking, and the fluid stripping the paint off the wheelย ๐Ÿ˜”can't believe it, fix one thing, another springs up!ย

Great job mate, thanks for the pictures too. Youโ€™ve done a good job.

Thats a shame about the brake fluid leak. Is it coming from the brake hose?

Cheers David, Sadly not, appears to be a seal that has gone. Car is going into the body shop tomorrow, its literally round the corner so not an issue, but the brakes will have to wait until I get it back. I've rebuilt motorbike brakes, I can't imagine these being any worse. Just a real nuisance!ย
