On my bug eye wagon I have plastic door strips than run over both doors on each side of car. When I bought the car a piece of door strip was missing, I have since decided that I don,t like the strips, so I want to remove them. If I remove them will it damage my doors? They look like they are only stuck on by double sided sticky stuff.

I would look at them like you would remove the letter's on the boot. Some heat from a hair dryer some fishing line to cut down then anything from Petrol to WD40, Halfords, Sticky stuff remover. and lot's of elbow grease to remove what is ever left. Don't use anything to abrasive to clean the glue off just a soft fabric cloth with the above. Should remove it :D
