Barry Aiken Posted November 15, 2022 Posted November 15, 2022 I have a 2015 Forester, which I had since new. I am appalled by the lack of quality of the engineering and materials used. It has only done 38,000 miles, has never been used off-road and driven very carefully. Last year it failed its MOT because a steering arm was broken. This year it failed again because a rear coil spring was broken. And now all sorts of warning lights came on and the local Subaru garage inform me a steering bush is broken which they will replace with a non-subaru part because they can't get a Subaru one. The cost to me for this latest issue over £700. In buying a Subaru I thought I was buying a high quality well engineered product. How wrong could I be.
