G4ETR
Hey all, Just Joined the Subaru club and already I'm seeking some of your experienced advice, purchased myself a 05 Forester XT 2.5L and hoping you can direct me to some quality user builds or recommendations. The engine has covered 160k miles and has been well serviced & maintained, I'd be lying if I said I didn't want more out of it. Ive seen some engines run well into the 200-250K miles so I'm debating if its worth modifying. Im happy to spend some money on it but thats if in your honest opinion its worth it. Purchase price was 3K in the Milton Keynes area if anyone's up for a meet.
Roffel
Evening! Same here! Mines getting towed to a garage Monday all being well. Just purchased tonight. Mines 04 2.0 XT 66k miles. I have loved foresters for years just until now never found the right one. I am also in the same boat as you about putting some little extras on! Just abit unsure, don’t want loud look at me but maybe something to give it a little extra?? Not sure !
G4ETR
Fingers crossed all is okay 👍 do keep us updated. It seems from the majority of posts I've come across the main upgrades are the turbo, sti intercooler, air intake, downpipe/exhaust manifold, fuel pump, exhaust, remap ect. Im not so sure about the 2L XT but hopefully all is the same. Just completed my first mod - Cobb Wiper Delete
