Impreza WRX STI or new WRX STi

Hi all

Looking for guidance before buying my next Subaru.

As a longer term investment with sensible money, is an 05 blobeye impreza WRX STI with DCCD etc, or a 2016/17 WRX STI likely to hold/appreciate in value the most. Or become a genuine future classic.

This would be a standard decent condition, possibly with PPP if the blobeye, or a standard edition if the 2017+ model. 

I'd love a P1 or 22B but I'm too late for that party. Probably same with a final edition
