Whenever the car is backing up, whether in reverse or neutral, it makes a high pitched whine that doesn't change in volume or pitch with the speed of the vehicle, just wondering if this is a manual subaru thing or something that is gonna lead to transmission failure. I should also mention that this is my first manual vehicle and am still learning all the bells and whistles. Thanks!
