Hi all, this has been enjoying me for a while and getting worse now its cold,

so when I start up from cold the engine seems to start as normal but the revs are low and  seems to struggle a bit, then a low pitch squeal starts and increases, gets louder and louder then stops after what feels like a minute ( could be less)

once the squeal goes the revs pick up ( like something has freed up)  and the engine sounds completely normal, but when I turn  the steering a low short squeal pops up again but not for long, after about 3-4 minutes its all good,

I've taken of the ac belt, no difference, will try the PSP belt on Saturday, cambelt was done last year,  Any ideas ??

sounds like power steering belt to me, so see how you get on after that

Pulled the ps belt, no more noise, new ps pump ordered, I do have a spare alternater in case,
