I have an Impreza Series Mcrae with a power steering problem and I am looking for a specialist who can fix it. Can anybody please help? I am on 01722 338586.

It's no different to a standard uk turbo one. Plenty of specialists all over the country, personaly i use scoobyclinic up at chesterfield, but may be a tad far away for you.

The problem I have had is that apparently the batch of cars of which the Mcrae was a part was changed after 2 years and the parts are no longer available. I had a leak of oil from under the reservoir on the p/s and when it was changed the p/s failed. I bought the last available pump and when fitted all was well. Then the leak returned , the O ring was changed and it failed again. It has worked a little since but after 2 years at a local garage it is worse than ever and sometimes fails altogether. I live in Salisbury and I am sole carer for my wife who is ill. I would love to leave the car with a garage who who what they are doing, but I have trouble being away for too long. Thanks for suggesting Scooby Clinic and I will try them.
