Hi guys, 

I have a 2005 JDM Legacy TBSTi BP5 which comes with the plastic intake manifold from factory. I’m looking at upgrading to the crinkle red aluminium manifolds that come on the Impreza’s and WRX’s of a similar age. 
 

Does anyone know if these are a straight swap or will they just not fit a Legacy at all?

While it's possible to fit an STI-style manifold, it won't be a direct bolt-on replacement for your Legacy. These manifolds were designed for the Impreza and WRX, so some custom work and potentially additional parts will be necessary to make it fit and function properly. Be prepared for a bit of a project, but with the right know-how and effort, it can be done! Good luck with your upgrade, @Stuart!
