Hello everyone,

I’ve just bought my dream car, and first ever Subaru at 19 after saving for the past 2 years!

It’s a Java Black Pearl (18L) 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX STi TYPE UK with it’s original EJ207 and less than 50k miles. The previous owner’s had only put some MeisterR coilovers and some Rota wheels which look Ok. It also was originally purchased 4 owners ago at the same place as my Mum’s STi just 1 month earlier (Her’s is WRC Blue) which she’s had since new.

I’m not sure how rare the colour is, or how many of them are left especially mostly unmodified.

It’s a very solid and lovely car but comes with some small scratches and stonechips which will get sorted out at some point.

I believe it also has some sort of performance brakes as it feels very soft just driving normally the discs are grooved differently to what I would expect and the pads are red (which I assume are EBC redstuff pads). However I’m looking to put the standard Brembo’s back on, should I wait until I’m required to change the brakes or change them now which the rear wheel bearings are getting changed?

My plan is to photograph it often and post photos on here and on my Instagram (jbp.wrx) , and take to car shows in Hampshire area when I get it cleaned.

Thanks.
