Gambit Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 So what have we done so far Checked for Pipes lose split cracked ? MAFS Done 02 sensor Done Idle control valve ? Plugs changed ? Coil packs looked at ? Just trying to get an idea so don't go over old things twice :)
jorgen Posted December 18, 2013 Author Posted December 18, 2013 Idle control valve it's EGR? Because on my previous forester idle control valve was on throttle body but now on throttle body i have MAP sensor. I check on opposedforces.com.
Gambit Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 I'm not 100% with the 07 fozzies have you tried to clean the throttle body and plate, they can get pretty gunked up ?
jorgen Posted December 21, 2013 Author Posted December 21, 2013 Spark plugs changed but still a feel slightly shakes. Today i have unplug Maf sensor and start engine CEL light but shakes exactly the same. When clear ECU and plug MAFS CEL gone. Is it possible that ECU doesn't show any issues on MAFS but maybe it is broken.
jorgen Posted December 21, 2013 Author Posted December 21, 2013 When i check live data MAFS show 2.9 g/s but i don't know that is correct or not.
Gambit Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 It is possible it happened to mine. I had replaced the MAFS with one from a scrap yard but still same thing happened so I changed a bunch of other stuff idle control valve plugs coil packs. Ended up changing the MAFS again and like !Removed! magic it was running fine. But I know it's not cheap to replace :(
jorgen Posted January 3, 2014 Author Posted January 3, 2014 90% it was maf sensor. I still testing. Thank for all.
Jay762 Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Great to hear - keep us posted, but hopefully you have it sorted!!
Gambit Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Woop-Woop glad to hear it's sorted mate :D Bit of a pain the MAF :)
Jay762 Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Brilliant to hear!! does seem to be a failure that throws up a lot of issues the old MAF sensor
