I have just bought a 2023 Outback.   Done a few hundred miles and loving it.

I didn't realise that the roof rails swing through 90 degrees and become cross bars.  So now I am looking at my best option for fixing bikes to the roof.

I have Thule aero bars and bike carriers which are great.  To use these on the Outback I would have to swap the feet on the end of the bars and then attach them to the Outback roof rails.  The feet are about £120 and I might get £30 for my old feet.

Alternatively I could use the roof rails in the cross bar position if I could adapt the bike carriers to fit a cross bar without the slot the aero bars have.

Thule do make adapters - https://www.thule.com/-/s/approved/std.lang.all/16/19/511619.pdf?rev=1.5 and this would be a cheaper and more convenient option.

Does anyone know if these fit the Outback rails/bars?
