Good morning, I have a 2016 Subaru XV. I see a lot of plug in gizmos advertised that claim that they will give you access to Apple play by simply plugging them in. Has anyone tried this in their XV? I don’t have satnav in my car but I do of course have a screen. Just wondered if anyone had any experience of these things. Thanks in advance. Paul.

XV has bluetooth connectivity as the wife plays spotify through it. from what i understand apply p[lay wasnt added till 2017/2018, but might be worth trying it and see if it will as im sure ive seen it mentioned people just connecting their phone and playing through the system. Initialy id just try to connect it and see what it does
