Hello guys and girls. Purchased my first Subaru impreza wrx... Its on a 54reg with 65,000miles on the clock with full service history. The cambelt is to be replaced before I pick the car up on the weekend. So I was wondering if there is anything I should be looking for in the problem department...

sounds like you have got a good car and cam belt being done too massive bonus. I would just check its the full cam belt kit being fitted, :)

Thanks for the welcome..... what does the full kit involve...

The full kit is not just a belt change it's Tensioner Bearing, idler's it's best to do them all at the same time as if one of them goes after the belts been done can course damage but means you would need to have the belt changed again anyway to repair, if it was 45k I'd have said should be fine but at 60k most people I know would have the full kit done inc myself :)
