Xenon HID Conversion Kit?

Featured Replies

So I was looking for some new lightbulbs, mine are ok just fancy something brighter.

And a mate suggested something like this

Would anybody recommend for or against this?

I'm guessing they are not road legal?

thanks ;)

There are some MOT regs when it comes to HID bulbs- Gambit posted a load of info in one of the threads - cant remember which one but I do remember something about the requirement for self levelling and a screen wash being functional.

That being said it will probably be down to your MOT chap / chapess if they pass it or not - I do know people with HID kits on bikes and dont have any problems but again it is down to where they take it for an MOT

I think Jays memory is pretty good and I'm more impressed if you have had a few drinks a remembered that think you was spot on on all aspects with regards to the MOT. And i'm not sure where the post is myself now :D

Guilty as charged... hic ....Sir! :D

thanks Jay, I notice that they are 100w bulbs. Would this not damage the projector light? or draw too much power?
