Hi, thinking of changing the stereo & front speakers in my 2004 forester anyone know what size the speakers are & is it an easy job thanks Ian:)

6.5" is what I've seen all over the net. However. A lot of people had to make a spacer ring out of MDF to get the speakers to fit without interference inside the door (very common when fitting aftermarket stuff in my experience).

My Impreza ones was 6.5 I did have to make some MDF rings to pull them away a bit otherwise the windows wouldn't drop down all the way, as said above :) 

Do you have the component set up ? If so a straight 6" would suffice and just replace the tweeters with some uprated ones you should be laughing
