so, I have to have a new caliper fitted

So tomorrow, as my front near side caliper is seized on, im having a new one fitted £102.00 with the caliper. obviously they take mine back and get probably £35.00 back.

 

Though it better to buy new as opposed to just wd-40 ing it. 

 

they think thats whats causing the clunks, when reversing, as the driveshaft etc is under alot of strain

That is a bargain, the parts alone cost me £80 each side (not genuine Subaru) and the labour does end up taking a while with bleeding, especially doing yourself. I would be happy with that price.
