fuel gauge

hi all im a new Subaru owner I have owned it now for 2 weeks few probs with it but can be solved but the one problem that is bugging me

is I have a fuel to air ratio gauge and it constantly says im running lean don't know if this is a bad thing

 

any help???

it might be a symptom of blocked supply ie with your injectors if you have racked up a few miles they will probably need a clean or fuel filter has some gunk in it etc
