So I've built my car and it runs and everything drives nicely and basically new tires and i kinda want a faster car. I've put 1300 dollars in my outback do you think i could sell it for 3000 dollars save some money get a 2002 outback impreza wagon for 4000 or am i wasting my time and money

To make money on a car is very hard I would say you was better off saving your money up see what you can sell your outback for and add it to the pot. I've only ever made money on one car and doubt I will ever manage it again :(

Yeah i just looked it up a reasonable price for it is 3000 and the car i want is 4000 and I'm just wondering if i should sell it for 3000 then save some till i get a car i actually want. Besides im only 15 i got a year before I can drive

It's worth having ago mate. list it for what you want if it doesn't sell you haven't lost anything and you have time to keep trying to sell it while saving :)

As I don't know what they fetch in your part of the world I couldn't advise on price however what Gambit suggests is good as you do have nothing to lose - also yes you have invested some money but learnt a load, got muddy converted your Mum to the brand and smoked a 'stang pretty good going so far  ;)

True but what if i bought something that could smoke a stang that isn't a piece of junk

I'd suggest waiting and saving up. I started my driving life in some fast cars, surprised I didn't kill myself or anyone else for that matter. So I'd say hold off getting something more powerful until you've got the experience on the road to handle it properly.

I'd give it a year of driving before changing up.

Not really more power same size engine just an impreza and not as much as a mom car lol and its got a Manual trans.

If it's not a power upgrade might as well go for it. Saying that I wish my first car wasn't as special to me 2.0 GTi

The amount of trouble I got in to haha
