Just wondered why the price range in maf sensors is so vast.

Apparently if bought from dealer it's £100+. On ebay there's some for £25 brand new with next day delivery. Some at around £45 and some over £100

Is there different "grades" of them or is a maf just a maf regardless of brand ?

Your lucky mate, I take it yours is the drop in cartridge type ?

I have to buy the whole !Removed! assembly at nearly 300 bits. I'd go genuine dealer part for the sake of a ton.

All ways a bit unsure of parts so cheap. I think they are a generic 'type' so unsure of how good they'd work anyway

Yeh mines the one where there's to torx screws and it comes out nice and simple.

I've cured the juddering issue I had it seems. Now when idle the revs sometimes drop to near point of cutting out very occasionally I've read thus is maf on its way out.

There was also a few comments about maf from various people about my last problem so time to change it see if it makes it any better
