RosieFreak
Hey man, How you? I use a garage called Automek in East Kilbride. The guy is brand new and they are seriously hard worker and best of all do not rip you off what so ever. If you have a Japanese car especially this is the place to go. Here is a link to their Facebook page so you can see some of the work he has done. https://www.facebook.com/AutomekEK?ref=ts&fref=ts He has worked on my Subaru and has a great following of other Jap car owners. Cant recommend him enough. One of the nicest and most honest person you'll meet, especially in the car trade. Hope this helps you mate,

Fozziebear
Well I have tried my local Glasgow back street guy but he's decided Subaru is too technical think after doing a reasonable job for some years and palmed me off - noisy rear end - and said it was diff. Tried Scottish Subarus to get the job done - didn't work out for me (though I paid for it) and problem remained (tuned out to be wheel bearings). I then went to would you believe "Bishopton Hiring Garage" a garage located by using the "Good Garage Scheme" and Bishopton sorted it for me. http://www.bishoptongarage.co.uk/ Its a proper garage with receptionist, written quotes and suchlike As I've moved now its not so handy but they did fix the car properly when the usual suspects just sucked their teeth shook their heads and talked telephone numbers or fixed something that was n't broken (as above), and by the way overfilled it with diff oil. Try Bishopton - Handy if you're out west, good luck. FozzieB
Fozziebear
For info from above: I did like the rallying thing too. "Stuart and Debbie Irvine run Bishopton Hiring Garage Ltd. Stuart started working here at the young age of 16, before buying it over in September 2000 and having a mad passion for cars his entire life, Stuart competed in the Scottish National Rally championship driving cars such as Opel Kadet, Ford Sierra, Ford Escort Cosworth and finally a Subaru Impreza. Having then moved over to preparing Group B Metro 6R4 to WRC Subaru's, Bishopton Hiring Garage Ltd is now known as a specialist for these types of vehicles."
