May 11, 201411 yr Hi all, I'm looking to upgrade my air filter from standard to either a k&n or pipercross panel filter. Could anyone shed any light as to which one is best? Cheers
May 11, 201411 yr both are good brands - I have used both in the past on different engines - go for the one that does not need oiling to avoid issues with the maf

May 11, 201411 yr Author Is there much of a problem with the one's that need oiling? I don't fancy causing any problems with the mad. I've just seen the pro r one's, they're made by pipercross aren't they?? I think that may be the one I go for.
May 11, 201411 yr Yeah any filter that needs oiling is a no with Subarus mate I would just stay clear :)
May 11, 201411 yr didnt know the Pro r were rebranded pipercross but as before you cant go wrong with either brand, just steer clear of ones requiring oil ;)

May 13, 201411 yr Looks ok to me has a parts number and a website. Could always message ProR themselves with the parts number to confirm it I guess.
