GavLadLeeds
Hi all, I am a new member so please bare with me! Passenger side front tyre looks flat. I have just checked all tyre pressures and they are all the same though as the car has just had an MOT. I drive a wrx 2006 with 215/45zR17 91W XL. Most mishaped tyres i have seen are an egg shape but this looks under inflated yet it isn't?! Any ideas? Needless to say i am taking it to a tyre specialist tomorrow! BoozyDave
are all the tyres the same brand? it might have been run under-inflated, that weakens the sidewall, so the sidewall might bow out instead of being rigid with the same pressure as the other tyres
GavLadLeeds
Yeah they are all the same tyres. I think you might be right - it's the only thing that would make sense to me. Thanks for the quick reply!
BoozyDave
no problem it's good to hear that they are all the same brand :) does it bulge out more than the others?
GavLadLeeds
It just looks flat at the bottom where it contacts the road. I need to post another question regarding oil and filter change too!
Gambit
I think Dave would have been spot on driven on once when it was almost/flat Or you had more weight on it then the back i.e on uneven ground :)
BoozyDave
It just looks flat at the bottom it would look a bit funny if it was flat on the top

BlackBosh
I just replaced mine for a cheapo budget after a screw as they said the tyre on it was discontinued, will this be fine till I can get hold of a replacement on the bay or wherever? BlackBosh
I have to be more careful of the play and knocking in the rear suspension and worn out brakes on the back than being able to go fast enough to worry about my tyres int wet ha !Removed! money pits
