Featured Replies

Went out to my subaru legacy gtb e tune 2002 today and car wouldn't respond to anything I pressed on key. Opened car manually and when trying to start nothing comes on no electrics what so ever. Replaced key battery and still nothing. Can someone please help me sort this problem

Has it been sat unused for any length of time?

Sounds like alarm/immobiliser problem.

When you put the key in the ignition and turn the key, do you get anything at all?

Dash ign lights,

Radio,

Electric windows,

Interior lights,

If nothing works at all, I doubt it's an alarm issue. Time to look at the battery terminals, earthing, etc.

Another question for you tho. When buying performance parts such as exhaust suspension engine components even alloys do I need to find parts to fit a legacy gtb or can I get parts that fit impreza or newer age legacy. Cheers
