Gambit Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Sorry if this is not the place to post this. But thought people might be intrested to share there view's. And I couldn't see any General/World News Room. Also I see this is a chance to get to know some of you here ;) http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/motors/4525010/EUs-MoT-war-on-pimping-up-British-cars.html Well since my very 1st car I have loved modding my car's, from extreme to just very small detail's. And would really want to fight against this being brought in, as I do get enjoyment out of playing about with my car's. And my Subaru is moddied under the hood on the outside and a few bit's inside. So if this does pass. Not sure it will, to much tax to lose by it. But my car would fail if they do :(
Steve Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 I saw this earlier and hope to do a club article on it. Just think how much this will affect the performance part and accessroy companies..
Gambit Posted September 17, 2012 Author Posted September 17, 2012 Fully agree. And I know some insurance company's don't use original manufacturer's parts, does that mean insurance would have to go up as well. And people who have had LPG conversions and so on. Pfft make's my blood boil lol
Steve Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 its a joke, a lot of modifications improve the car stability. I blame the cheap mods from China and the dummies who add dangerous mods, ruins it for everyone else
Gambit Posted September 22, 2012 Author Posted September 22, 2012 I blame the people with the red clipboard's, that go around saying "You can't do that it's not safe. you should all drive around in a Toyota Prius"
