So, looking to buy a 2005 Jap Import Forester Sti with some mods, ECU remapped to 335bhp, miltek exhaust, the usual, even added on some bits i wasn't sure of like suspension upgrades.

Spoke to the team at Adrian Flux £610 fully comp, including all the usual legal this, cover that stuff that should be standard.

LV (via the meerkat website) £520 with the same boxes ticked same excess.

Seems strange that a "High street" insurer can get better deals for highly modified cars, I've not had much luck with Adrian Flux in recent years, neither here nor on my Leon Cupra R or my MX5 track car. All of which are fast and modified in some way or the other.

Just goes to show, it pays to go on the stupid meerkat website, even if you vowed never to buy from a puppet!!!

You have to be careful of the small print with High street companies they may say they will cover this and that and then claim no knowledge of it when/if its time to claim.

I've been using Keith Micheals for the past 12 years with no issues what soever, they Insure a lot of my local clubs scoobs and are happy to work with you regards mods.

Only bad thing about them is that they are quite busy and don't always return calls :(

Hi,

If you wanted to PM me your details I'd be happy to take another look at this for you to see if there is anything more we can do.

Can you pay monthly with Adrian flux and does he take into traders no claims bonus because im looking to come out of it at christmas

You can certainly pay monthly - We unfortunately can't accept traders NCB to convert to standard private car NCB - however premium discount may be applied case dependant. Feel free to get in touch to see what we can offer.

Thanks

Dan
